Dad truly needs to comment on these... He was quite disappointed (as you can clearly see) in the Mall's lawn (our nation's backyard). There were weeds, cloverpatches and dirt spots without any grass galore!

After discussing the situation with a park ranger and moving on to the Lincoln Memorial, Dad was happy to see that there was some hope in sight! Part of the lawn was closed for "turf restoration" :)
